This is the mediating ray that bridges the first three, and the three that follow.
It is the ray of artists, in a narrow and broad sense: both artists classically understood and those endowed with a creative artistic flair in any part of their lives. It is the ray of art understood as Ars Vivendi, the art of living life itself: being able to interact with reality by co-creating together with it. We start from what it provides us, and then freely mix and renew the combinations of the elements, creating new creations. Just as there are 7 basic notes and infinite melodies, in the same way the fourth ray, starting from a finite number of elements, manages to create infinite creations by combining them in different ways. Those whose soul belongs predominantly to this ray can be identified among: painters, actors, inventors, architects, poets, sculptors, circus artists, writers, directors and performers, singers, songwriters.
A typical characteristic of the frequency of this ray is its will to mediate, act as a bridge and create harmony between the parties; this is how the profession of interpreter finds justification within this ray.
Art connects the visible world with the world of emotions, soul and spirit. Art manages to give meaning to pain by making it speak through the beauty of its works and thus awakening millions of people by touching their souls.
When this frequency is implemented in a pure way it gives the individual the possibility of finding new creative ways to transform what in its current form is obsolete and no longer generates beauty, therefore being able to solve problems of different natures: both practical/mechanical and relational-emotional.
The fourth ray tends towards the search for beauty and harmony. For the soul, beauty is nourishment, and it is everything that evokes a spontaneous exclamation of heart and wonder.. “Ohh how beautiful..”; this movement is clearly felt in the heart and body, it gives a sensation of lightening, comfort, openness, faith, enthusiasm, surprise, and/or relief.
The fourth ray finds its best expression when it is experienced from the center of the heart in which, according to the Shamanic tradition, resides the creative genius which is our ally and antidote to victimism and depression.
The fourth ray, in its distorted manifestation can lead to confused, exasperated, compulsive, chaotic and non-harmonious creativity. Another refraction consists in losing contact with mother earth, catapulting the consciousness into flights of fancy among the high spheres of ideas and idealisms without being able to give them concrete and balanced form. The refracted fourth ray escapes from material reality, which it considers a limiting and painful prison, often seeking substances capable of helping it to detach itself from everyday life by losing the notion of time and blurring the boundaries of the surrounding space. In the past many exponents of the fourth ray were labeled as crazy and were locked up in mental hospitals; other souls i’m sure can remember the fervour of their spirits and how these, taking over, distanced them from the earth and its sacred and wise rhythms. The actual physical houses of some souls belonging to this ray, in its refraction, can be a messy jumble of pieces of art, which although beautiful lose their value and fail to radiate their beauty in a place where self-neglect is palpable along with the internal decay.
According to Plato, Beauty is equivalent to Truth and Good. It serves harmony so that the union of creation, feeling and emotion generates an elevating and beneficial frequency; however, beauty goes beyond moral good: the word moral derives from the Latin mos, moris which means social custom and tradition. These change from era to era and are induced: what was once good is perhaps no longer good today; beauty as a principle, idea or purely spiritual value is still different as it cannot be grasped if left abstract in the high heavens disconnected from the Mater.
Dostoevsky's Beauty, the one that saves the world, is the beauty felt and experienced in the body and soul, and for everyone it will be unique, unrepeatable and in harmony with their own true destiny (therefore also in agreement with their own Spirit) alchemized and expressed in and from one's heart.
Whatever your life and/or your profession, you can make it a work of art by living it fully by immersing yourself in it with every breath, where you are both the painter of the canvas and the canvas itself since it is precisely the exchange and relationship that exists between your essence and your manifest existence the Life calling to be Lived.
